SWAT 4 Expansion Revealed

A short Forum Post (http://forums.vugames.com/thread.jspa?threadID=3716&start=0&tstart=0) to the official Vivendi SWAT 4 forums brings word (via Computer Gaming World) that an expansion pack is in the works for Irratinal's Police shooter. Included in the expansion pack are sniper rifles, grenade launchers and those fancy glow sticks that won't help you tell the difference between the blue wire and the green wire.

How was the multiplayer for this game? (it had mp, yes?)

I played the single player demo and thought it was a blast, it just seemed like it would last a short time then get pushed off my hard drive so I never picked it up.

I could be convinced to buy it if a bundle was released and it still had an active community.

Co-Op is fun if you have a group of people who can coordinate. Deathmatch sucked for a LONG time because of the .45 SMG bug that allowed a single .45 SMG round to piece anything and still kill you if it hit you anywhere. If you have a good group, the co-op is wonderful but if not there are many more entertaining Deathmatch games out there.

It´s the same comapany that did the swat4 game. Irrational is a Brilliant Company. And I buy any game they make.

Sniper Rifles?

Ugh, just Ugh.

Sniper Rifles and SWAT 4 are a horrible mix, as that will either require areas that are larger, killing the tight feeling, or sniping from 10 feet away.
