Gamegossip (http://gamegossip.com/) has posted an article (http://gamegossip.com/comment.php?id=14655) regarding one of the strongest pre-order incentives I've seen in quite some time. If you pre-order L.A. Rush for the PS2 or the Xbox, you will receive Midway Arcade Treasures 3 for free.

L.A. Rush is slated to ship across the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC on October 10th, 2005. The game will feature a story mode, multiplayer racing, and over 350 miles to race through. The pre-order deal states that Midway Arcade Treasures 3 will be given to those pre-ordering L.A. Rush when the actual copy of L.A. Rush is picked up by players in stores. The official L.A. Rush website (http://www.larushgame.com/) has more information on the game.

Midway Arcade Treasure 3, which ships next month, is a somewhat fitting choice, given the compilation includes the original San Francisco Rush, as well as seven other racing titles.Release Date: 10/10/2005 (PC, PS2 (http://www.gametab.com/ps2/la.rush/3223/) & XBOX (http://www.gametab.com/xbox/la.rush/3222/))

That's a pretty sweet incentive.

Am I the only one who loved San Francisco Rush? Or Rush 2: Rush the USA? Or Rush:2049?

I used to go over my friend's house and play them all day during the summer. Nintendo 64 graphics were pimp back then. Remember in Rush 2 when you could drive around the stunt arena? I had hours of fun. I'm actually excited about LA Rush.

Holy CRAP. I saw this game at E3 and was gonna buy it anyways - it was a blast to play. Now there's no reason to not get it.

I loved the secret area in one of the San Fransico Rush maps...on a hill side...great stuff.

I was already planning on buying both of these on account of being a Rush fan, this just sweetens the deal.

Me too, I love Rush. I haven't ever played the Alcatraz edition of the First Rush either, I hear it has all kinds of different jumps and stuff as compared to the original. I'm a little dissapointed that they didn't put Rush 2 on this collection but it is all good since I have it on the 64. Me and my friend Jeff use to drop obscene amounts of time into Rush 2.

Rush 2 wouldn't really fit since it was never released in arcades. It would've been a nice bonus though.
