Where are the EvAvers in any given MMO?

In most major MMOs, EvAvers tend to cluster together on the same server and/or guild; understandably so. Frequently when a community member is looking to try out an MMO, one of the first questions asked is "Where are the EvAvers playing?" To that end I think it'd be a good idea to compile all of that into a handy sticky for future reference.

Please feel free to post with information or games you don't see listed here, and I'll update this first post with the information.

I resubscribed to WoW just so I could play with EvAvers. Then I found out you can't transfer characters from a PVE server to a PVP server (why is this, exactly?). :(

I really don't have it in me to level up another character again. The one I play now, I basically raid with a few days a week and just do the daily fishing quests on the other days.

Then I found out you can't transfer characters from a PVE server to a PVP server (why is this, exactly?). :(It's considerably easier to level a character on a PVE server without the constant threat of ganking. Wouldn't be entirely fair to let someone show up at the finish line with their max level well geared character without having to have had run the same race everyone else did.

Ah OK, that makes sense. I was thinking that at the highest level, a lot of people have very similar gear so it wouldn't matter much. I guess it could make a pretty huge difference though.

What level? I figure the only reason to jump back in is to help someone run instances and whatnot. I missed a lot on my run through.

Hard to find the time for MMOs since getting married. Though I did play a freeshard of DAoC for a while. If anything is gonna draw me back in a bit, it looks like it will be WAR (though if diablo 3 ever comes to light, watch out :D )

No idea, but I know I reactivated my nearly-four-years-expired original account with a free trial from mmorpg.com for use this week and last. I may reactivate for a month or so when I get return home after next week (a month or so's all I'll have is why). My main characters are on Virtue.

Granted, it's fun to play in character, but in the two weeks of my trial all it meant was that everyone put parentheses around all of their text because they would never actually get around to playing their roles. They couldn't act their way out of a paper bag.

Yeah, roleplay in MMOs really isn't that great, to be honest. But the Virtue server is about as good as it gets, at the moment.

I luck into good guilds in WoW, stay with them for about six months or so, and then watch them implode. Luckily, this one has lasted.

I'm in an SG that has been around since the beginning of CoH, and we have a roleplay night every Thursday where we run missions, replacing the scripted story with long-running arcs of our own. It really is hard to find a group like that though, especially when one just starts a game.

I play on WoW with the EvAv folks on Vashj. Good group of guys and gals and we just started Kara runs in the guild so it's enjoyable.

Conan is on the fence, if I knew i could run it and enjoy it then I would but after the PvP beta I don't know really.

Well, I did it. I resubscribed to WOW and rolled a Blood Elf Rogue (neither of which I had played in my previous attempts to really get into WOW) on Vashj. I can certainly feel the leveling adjustments in play now.
