A question for you 70 hunters out there. Check my armory page, here (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Quel%27dorei&n=Arilin).

With the few gemmed pieces I have, would you regem them at all, and if so how? Also, with the amount of agility I have, if I regem the AP gems to be AGI, or keep the AP would it be viable at this point to go full on 41 point SV again?

are you asking ofr PvP or PvE? From your gear Im going to guess PvP, but if you are asking for PVE let me know and I can answer again. But what sort of PvP? Randomly queued battlegrounds or arena?

All I can really say now is that for any sort of PvP or PvE Your hit rating is low, IMO a hunter really should have it at 5% or just under 5% for PvP, and you will need higher still for PvE. But I know that isnt the question you asked =p

Hit rating will improve as I force myself to BG more. Mostly for arena right now, and just the random instance here and there. The hunter at this point is mostly for pvp. He's utterly boring to be honest :P Have a 63 warrior I find more fun these days. Eventually he may come back into the swing of things, as I tend to go in cycles with my characters, but long story short -- for PVP. Be it BG's or Arena.

As a BM hunter you'll want to replace all your Attack Power gems with agility. Agility is a much better invesetment as it gives attack power ( I think it's 1 agi = 2 ap), it gives you crit which is nice for triggering kill command, it increases your pets armor and crit rating which increases your pets damage and keeps ferocious inspiration up. And agility also scales with buffs. So yes, regem with agility :)

I've never been survival spec but my understanding is that you want to be at about 800agility unbuffed before switching over to SV.

If you really want to geek out on numbers an stuff you should check out the forums on elitistjerks.com. Tons of good info on there about every class/spec in the mechanics forum. You can also get spreadsheets that you can use to determine what upgrades will be more beneficial to you based on your spec and current gear, etc.
