Yergh... Myst clones. That's all this company ever seems to make... I mean, do they realize that adventure games exist outside of the mindless puzzles of Myst? Monkey Island ring a bell here?

The Adventure Company has so much potential. I mean they pop out so many great *concepts*. Unfortunately they don't turn out 9/10ths of the time, sadly.

The Adventure Company is really just a publisher though, right? I seem to get the impression that they just put out any adventure game someone brings to them. While I see that as a way to get adventure games onto the market, they've gotten somewhat of a bad reputation since they really do seem willing to put any adventure game out there.
Speaking of Myst - I read that a Mac demo of Myst V has come out - before a PC demo. Interesting, no?

Heh. I just commented on the Broken Sword 4 thread that any company who puts out a non-Myst clone should be commended.
Anyone who DOES put out a Myst clone should have the adventure game equivalent of Jack Thompson sent after them. It's too bad they don't have their own genre to distinguish them from real adventure games. Slideshow Puzzles spring to mind...
