Fuck Ghost Recon or w/e they're calling that shit, thats not Ghost Recon that something totally different, I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed Ghost Recon 1 on pc and all of its expansion packs and was hoping to see the sequel be more of the same with a couple gameplay tweaks. Oh well, fuck w/e they think this game the screenshots are of.

So are the console versions and the PC version different? The PC version has no grain.

I'm with you on that one Chagrinful. Our group use to love playing the first one every Friday night. I still feel it was one of the most realistic AI I have played.

Damn, you cant even see how the game looks in those xbox360 screens. They all have such deceptive angles.

GR2: Summit Strike is excellent: it looks great, the animations are quality, the weapon selection is varied, and the sounds are solid. In addition to four-player co-op on XBL and and 16-player multi on some seriously large levels, this is by far the best GR to date.

GR3 is looking like Metroid in retrospect.

Surely there's some military terminology I don't know about, but...warfighter? I mean...honestly. Warfighter? I can't wait for Call of Duty: Dudeshooter.

i believe "advanced warfighter" is the type of gear that they use like their suit or whatever

Naw guys, it's a totally new game mechanic. That's why its just guys standing around in the screenshot; you start out next to your house and then you have to find a war. You have a war detector but it only works when you're within 50' of an actual war. Sometimes it's a pretty minor war (like a water pistol fight in a backyard or something) so you don't get many points for finding those. The big scores from finding genocidal wars in western africa, since no one else seems to ever be aware of them they're the hardest to fin d.

Gameplay like GR2 is a hard sell to PC gamers, so Ubi decided to have a separate developer for the GR3 PC version to make it more tactical and "realistic".

GR1 and all its addons is still my favorite game. Turn off threat indicator, put it on elite and its one of the most enjoyable games i've ever played.

I think you're mixing this game up with Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfinder.

I'm primarly a pc gamer but i enjoyed Ghost Recon 2, i thought it was the best military shooter i have ever played, it was still realistic but it was more fast paced, i loved GR1, but GR2 was a different game and i loved it just as much.
