Bluesnews (http://bluesnews.com/c) has the scoop (http://bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=59455)on JoWooD relisting the release dates for both Gothic 3 and SpellForce 2 titles to a generic 2006.

...there was previously a mixture of Jan 2006, Q1 2006, and tba for the next installment in Piranha Bytes' RPG series. Likewise, 2006 is also the new date for all territories on the SpellForce 2 product page, where Phenomic's role-playing/strategy game sequel previously had release dates of Nov 2005, Q4 2005, or tba, depending on the location. No additional information accompanies these changes.

They usually do the game right then release on time - just as Blizzard always does. A few months more won't kill me and it means Oblivion and Gothic 3 should be coming out at differnt times - which is a good thing.

yes I don't mind if those games are delayed. I dug Gothic 2. I am looking forward to 3. I never played spellforce, but I did almost buy it a couple of times. Is it anygood?

Speaking of, anyone tell me if Spellforce is worth picking up? I recall a demo that I sort of enjoyed, but just barely.

Spellforce was badass. It was like Sacred and C&C put together(more units than War3). I am really looking forward to Spell2.

Spellforce was great. I was supposed to write a review of it, but instead, played it over a couple of times because I was having a blast and missed my deadline.

I loved alot of things about Spell Force except for the bad writing and horrendously bad voice acting.

Its a fun game and its a big game too, so its worth picking up. Alot of game time there for your money.

I liked Spellforce a lot... but it's hard to find the game in stores. An if you do find it in EBgames they'll still charge you like $40.
