IGN (http://psp.ign.com/articles/642/642538p1.html) has a preview up of Lord of the Rings: Tactics. Again, the main portion of the game feels like Final Fantasy Tactics, in that each army (Fellowship and Mordor) will take turns moving about the map and setting up actions. Characters move about a grid that players can toggle on and off using the right shoulder button. Unlike other strategy role-playing games, players will dictate movement and actions for all characters before the end of a turn. Of course, this brings up a number of concerns, most important being the problems that would arise with moving targets. It would seem, for example, that opposing characters would run past each other all the time. Fortunately, EA has implemented a system of "comfort zones" where characters enter a combat phase whenever in close proximity. During this phase of the game, each character can wait or attack, but movement is prohibited.
