A little note for everyone who donated yesterday (or today... or back in January when we switched servers), if you would like a custom forum rank, just drop me an E-mail with your Evil Avatar.com user ID or send me a Private Message with the custom rank you would like and I'll hook it right up.

People who have donated are also going to be moved into our "Subscriber" pool in the near future, which will give you access to additional site features as they come online. (Limited downloads, custom ranks, Subscriber Forum icons... etc.)

I have needed to do that for a while. I'm just inherently lazy and disorganized. But, I'm also grumpy and annoying so what I lack in ambition I make up for with profanity. :)

Why not just enable the custom title option in the profile editor? It seems that would be a lot easier than dealing individual emails?

Anyways, I am happy to see that there will now be subscriber benefits - especially since I am in line for a new job and will be making my first donation shortly afterwards. Is there any info on how the downloads will be managed? I do not have to tell anyone here that the bandwith requirements can absolutely destroy a site.

That's not a bad idea, at least making the option available for subscribers/donaters. Or maybe the staff doesnt want people changing their subtitles too often?

Your recent posts about bills due and whatnot, coupled with your near-fatal encounter with the spider (or not, depending on who you ask), along with some interesting non-gaming discussions on the forums, touched somethin' deep in my non-profit workin' plasma donatin' heart. Someone from Ireland just made a donation (Andrew). Isn't that just amazing? It is really cool that we have readers from a bunch of different countries. One of our regular posters a long time ago was from Pakistan (or in that region).
