The fine folks over at GoGamer.com (www.gogamer.com) have another 48 Hour Madness sale. There are some real good gems to be found in this sale:

Unreal Tournament III (http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=21524447&extid=900021908) - $29.99
Company of Heroes (http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=5640241&extid=90022508) - $12.90
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts (http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=22318385&extid=90022508) - $14.90
Universe at War (http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=34442507&extid=90022508) - $19.90

If you haven't gotten around to play Company of Heroes, now is an excellent chance to get both versions for less than $30.

Just ordered Company of Heroes and COH: Opposing Fronts :D.

I am thinking of ordering UAW , is it any good online? How's the community?

UaW is a very console centric RTS. If you like more modern, PC centric, and well developed RTS; it is not for you. If you are new to RTS's in general, it is decent as a 'Fisher Price: My First RTS' experience.

If only that was the PS3 UT3, I'd bite.

Is there a skirmish mode? Map editor?

Just ordered two CoH:OF.

Excellent. I hope Evil got some kickback off the link.

Wow, that's a great deal on COH and Opposing Fronts!

I was planning on picking them up when I finally get around to partitioning my iMac, but I'm just going to order them today instead. Thanks for the post!

There is a skirmish mode, but no map editor has been released thus far.

According to GG, the specs for CoH is:
* Windows 2000/XP
* Pentium III 1.8 Ghz
* 512MB RAM
* 64MB DirectX 9.0 video card
* 6X DVDROM Drive
* DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
* Keyboard
* Mouse
Is that correct?

I picked up COH and COH:OF. Between these and Sins of a Solar Empire, I'll have more PC gaming than I can handle for quite a while.

So I put COH, Opposing Fronts, Starcraft & expansion (I know, I know...), and Rise of Legends in my cart, for a grand total of $60. That includes shipping.

Does this seem like something I should jump on? It seems like a good deal, but I noticed that a bundle is coming out with both COH and Opposing Fronts together pretty soon. Still, I'll probably save a few bucks if I buy them during this sale.

Does anyone know if PC DVDs come in the lame paper sleeves that CDs ship in? COH and Starcraft are listed as being in hard DVD cases, but the other two are "retail boxes". I haven't bought a retail boxed PC game that came on DVD, so I'm not sure how these are packaged.

They usually come in the standard DVD jewel case, similar to movies, but room for a manual.

Damit! I just bought this game last week for $30 on steam...

I will wait for a 48 hour madness on Sins of a Solar Empire

I know for a fact that both CoH, CoH: OF, and Rise of Legends all come with DVD hard cases and do not use paper sleeves. CoH and CoH:OF also are on DVD; where as Rise of Legends comes on 4 CDs. StarCraft, however, for the best of my knowledge does use paper sleeves for the games.

My order got messed up somehow :(, however I pre-ordered the Gold Edition which comes out on March 5. Its for $30 which is almost the same bargain.
