Rahman, Ali and Safi are members of Happy Family Clowns group, established in 2004 to put smiles on the faces of Iraqi children.

A few months ago the group started receiving death threats warning them against continuing their show, entitled A Child is as Scared as a Country.

But the clowns kept going, until two members of the troupe were murdered.

This was enough to drive the surviving three to leave Iraq.

As much as I hate terrorists, its a tough call between them and clowns, so this isn't the best story to bring up. Really, "A Child is as Scared as a Country"?!? What kind of freaking clown show explicitly mentions scaring children? The message of that title is that Iraqi children should be scared shitless.

The U.S. military said Wednesday that two women used as suicide bombers in attacks earlier this month had undergone psychiatric treatment but there is no indication they had Down syndrome as Iraqi and U.S. officials initially had claimed.

Either way, I'd call that low.
