Since this place is just a bit barren now, I figured I'd spice it up a bit and share a story about this amazing double kill I got Wednesday night.

Disclaimer: If a thread like this already exist I apologize. I'm honestly too lazy to look or utilize the search function. Also, if you want to avoid the wall of text just read the last two paragraphs.

On to the story:

So, it was the last match of the night and me and some buddies are on the Narrows. I haven't played in weeks, but my game was surprisingly good. We dominated most of the match so I, alone head to the other side of the map toward the opposing team's main spawning area. I manage to snag the overshield so I know I'm at least taking one person down (playing with shotguns). I spot one of the enemy and take him down. My overshield is gone, but luckily I manage to grab the bubble shield my opponent just dropped. I set it out instantly. Then just behind the pillar I notice four more - one alone fighting one of my teammates and three clustered together (for some reason). The are on the right side of the back area of the map (back center platform) as I entered from the man-cannon ledge.

So I proceed to throw a plasma grenade. Still not used to my sensitivity settings I'm totally off. However, I notice as the plasma grenade is almost to the end of its trajectory it suddenly curves around the corner (from my perspective). I instantly say over my mic, "what the hell?" It explodes and I receive a double kill.

Instantly after the game is over, I depart ways with my crew and go to theater mode. I fast forward to the moment of the kills. As I throw the grenade I notice a small explosion to the left just below my thrown grenade. Then from there I switch to my teammates view and all is revealed.

Basically, my teammate reached the other team first and threw a frag grenade as he engaged in combat. Said grenade hit the ground and then bounced into an adjacent corner. As it detonated, it changed the trajectory of my already thrown plasma grenade by about 90 degrees. My grenade then detonated right above the heads of two enemies, killing them.

I saved the video and clipped it. I'll see if I can edit it, but I just wanted to share the experience. So, if anyone else has got some amazing kills please feel free to share.

Videooo!

This sounds as cool as that video where someone's spike grenade sent his opponent's frag grenade straight back to the sender and the spike grenade went off before the frag so it counted as a suicide for the fragger :p

Kind of off-topic, but speaking of amazing kills, I was playing on The Pit last night and saw one of my teammates going into the sword room while throwing grenades. I just threw a grenade towards the inside of the room, it bounced it and I saw a bulltrue medal pop up. Apparently my grenade killed him while he was lunging. Funny. I'd never seen that before and didn't even realize this was possible. Lol.

Okay, sorry guys. Doing the school/work thing. I saved the video and edited it into a 13 second snippet. Now what do I need to do to make it all dramatic and stuff?

You need Linkin Park playing way too loud over top of the clip.
