So I checked my email between some lectures at college today and found an invite for the Warhammer Online beta. I don't really have a lot of time for it at the moment, but I was fairly pleased and went over to the site to check out the size of the download and whatnot. As soon as I logged in the NDA popped up, but I was in the middle of a conversation and being slightly distracted, I hit the cancel button. This seems to have taken the beta flag off my account :o

Sent them an email about it, but I'm not expecting a reply any time soon. Bit of a pain in the arse, but at least it won't be a distraction for the time being :D

Damn, that sucks. I am still presuming this will be the game to get me out of WoW, and being in the beta would be great. I started WoW in early beta days, and it has led me to still playing over 2 years later. Come on, WAR-guys, make this happen :p

Just checked out a couple of threads from people who've done the same thing on one of the fansites, and it seems that there's no way to reverse this - the only means of contacting account services is via the beta forum, which I can't access. I sent a PM to the community manager, but I really doubt that they'll do anything.

I got in with the media back in may 07. it's still pretty dam generic and will not pull many wow players away for long but I keep my hopes high because the people behind the game are putting 150% into trying to listen to the testers, involve the community, and make a genuinely fun game.
