[FFXI] Absolute Virtue Defeated..... Sorta

So back at the FFXI Fanfest right before Wings of the Goddess came out, the dev team promised that they'd prove that Absolute Virtue is in fact killable. Today they released a video that's supposed to provide hints to beating AV (the first 1/3 of the video (http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/download/wind/asx/AV_EN.asx) is them fighting the Jailer of Love).

Personally, I don't see it. It doesn't appear, to me anyway, that they do anything special or out of the ordinary. Well, they do try to sleep it a lot, but it doesn't appear to do anything. Unless Sleep cancels out his insane Regen or something. But that just seems too simple.

Notice how the same people are 2hr ing more than once, and right after AV 2hrs? Apparently using the right 2hr, or maybe just enough 2hrs of any kind, will cancel his and your own is restored.

I couldnt see any purpose to the sleep except hate; they were using red mage tanks. The other odd thing was using tier 1 spells; something to do with his regen?

My old LS got AV to 7% using the wall glitch before being GM jailed. It was my only GM warning. That mob is broken.

Having watched the video, it seems some sort of 2 hour use after AV uses it's is necessary. Perhaps the person with aggro. Never-the-less, it's about time they give a strategy hint.
