This documentary is admittedly a long piece to digest at 3 hours long, but each episode is mostly self-contained. It aired last year on the BBC, and it's a great piece of documentary making, regardless of whether you agree with the conclusions that Curtis ultimately comes to as to the ultimate nature of human society and freedom and where it places our modern world. He's certainly no Michael Moore, everything is very well researched and founded in every kind of academic department, from political sciences to theology, psychology and mathematics.

The second part is my favourite if you're short on time, but I really do recommend the whole thing.
