I know there was a thread about Tabula Rasa and an Evil Avatar clan. I can't seem to find it. Is anyone here currently playing this?

I actually just picked this game up the past weekend. I'm on the US East server (forget the name of it). Planned on building a demolitions character as they seem rather rare (them and exobiologists anyway). Only like lvl 7 but I'd be willing to hook up with anyone else playing.

I'm on the east coast server (Pegasus). Last name Zogg. I'm also on Xfire: digitalfirefly. I'm lvl 10 right now.

I play on the West Coast server, I think it's Cassiopea (which every 1st West Coast Server is on the top of the list). How is the east coast server like?

What's your opinion on Soldier or Support? I seem to die a lot more with my Soldier, Support not as much...

I've only played Solider so far and I haven't died that much. I'm still in the wilderness though.

Question, because I do have a friend who wanted to try it, where did you get your trial codes? I didn't find any in my box. Or at least any for Tabula Rasa but other NCsoft games.

The trial codes are on www.plaync.com.

You go to Account > Manage > Game Accounts > (select Tabula Rasa) > Refer A Freind (on the right)

I don't know if trials can give out trials.

I'm having problems logging into my existing plaync account, so I had to submit a support ticket, since password reset didn't work either. I probably won't get to download the client until tomorrow, assuming they are fast to fix this.

I know my password, yet it won't work. I even tried every other possible password it could be. Nothing worked. Password reset doesn't work, since it claims my answer to my question is wrong (I know it's right). I just used the account a couple months ago when I tried that Dungeon Runners game, and I get newsletters from PlayNC all the time.

Pretty annoying. Should hopefully be fixed soon, though, then I can finally try this game.

The game is much more casual than I had thought it was going to be. I have to admit I like that. The thing that turned me off to other MMOs was the raiding and necessity of large groups.

Oh and I was actually present when the Thrax tried to take over the control point last night, it was awesome. I was talking to the vendor and she just screams "Let's Go!" and massive war broke out. I jumped up to the sniper tower with my rifle and just fired away.

Yeah that's one of my favorite parts of the game, it's like MMO Team Fortress.

For now just make sure your adding "Amati" without the quotes of course.

I'm pretty sure you need to be online for someone to add you, which sucks. Easiest way to find out if we're playing is if yo use Xfire, you can see if we're playing that way.

Yeah that sucks. They really should have a longer trial to begin with. 7 days would be good.

Max (or Pump as they like to call it) out your Firearms skill as soon as you can for maximum ass kicking. To quote PlanetTR.com

"At Pump 5 in Firearms, you get a 40% damage bonus with all firearms, 0.8 second reload time with pistols, +10% critical hit chance with rifles, and 75% knockback chance with shotguns."

That 75% chance to knock down a group of Thrax is awesome. Gives me time to catch a short breather and assess what's going on. I really dig how the environment feels like you are really caught up in the middle of a warzone. Those outpost battles are tons of fun and actually have some meaning in-game.

I mainly walk around with a Physical damage shotgun, Laser Shotgun and EMP Shotgun. Then a healing and repair tool. Good times.

Is anybody still playing this game? I was told that some of the major problems with this game are fixed by now so I'd like to try Tabula Rasa out. Unfortunately you can't just get a free trial for this game, you have to get a friend's pass from an existing player. I do not know anybody who plays this. Could anybody help out a fellow EvAv member?
