View Full Version : Anyone play Lineage 2?

I need some help. I can't seem to un-map keys. I don't want to use the F1-F10 keys for skills because they are nowhere near the position either hand rests while playing. If I try to bind the skills to keys already in use, it lets me know the key is in use, asks if I want to reset the key to it's default, but only gives me one button to get passed the screen. Which of course resets the binding to it's default.

It seems like the only way to unmap keys is to bind other random unused keys to the old action so I can rebind them to the actions I want. Please tell me this isn't the only way.

I used to play L2, but have been long since removed. I recall the problem you are having and I think the only way (that I remember) is the way that you have mentioned. Personally, I just ended up sticking with the F-keys because my Warsmith only had 3-4 useful skills :(

The game was beautiful, but it was an insane systems hog. On top of that all it was, was a boring grind. It was also the reason why My ex and I broke up, so it can die in the green volcanic ash from Shadowmoon Valley in WoW.

I play Lineage II on Erica server, never tried to remap keys. I'll look into it tonight.

Step 1- rebind the Main shortcut 1 key to the "~" key
Step 2- rebind the secondary shortcut key to "F1" in that way the "1" will be free
Step 3- rebind the Main shortcut 1 key to "1"
then rinse and repeat for all the keys

Alright, I had this quest to go to teleport to Giran. So, I get there, and I'm not really sure what to do next, haha. I'm only level 4, I'm not sure how to get back to the newb village area and I don't know what to do it Giran.

Anyone have any advice?
