It has been 10 years since Remedy first gathered together and started creating the games we all know and love; Death Rally, Max Payne 1, Max Payne 2 and now Alan Wake.

In those 10 years Remedy have gathered a huge fanbase and community who eagerly await their every next move.

So in celebration of 10 fantastic years, in conjuction with Remedy Entertainment, I am pleased to announce a huge competition we are holding here at AlanWAKE.Net.

So without further ado please head over to this thread (http://www.alanwake.net/forum/showthread.php?t=264) and read up on it:

Editor's Note: Prizes range from copies of Max Payne up to the entire Remedy game collection as well as autographed copies of merchandise.

I have a urge to do a Max Payne style birthday card.

Max Payne 1 and 2 are my favorite single player shooters (second to Half-Life 2's single player mode)

Happy birthday Remedy! Thank you for doing something different and amazing, something the rest of the games industry apparently fears.

Have not played Max Payne 2 yet, is it as good as the first one?

Yes, though shorter, if that is even conceivably possible. Still, a good game that I enjoyed immensely. Not as much as the first, for me, because the original was the game that started it all. Still, it's just as good, if not better, overall.

Max Payne 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, no matter how many times or how much i play it i dont get sick of it, and i can't explain that!

Also i think Alan Wake will be a spiritual successor to max payne, but honestly the fact that Take 2 took the licence for max payne away from remedy makes my want to vomit in rage! They blamed their loses on that game and took it from them and gave it to another developer, it just makes me so MAD!
