D&D Online is nearing the closed beta stage, and Turbine is looking for people to beta test their product. Head over to the beta signup (https://beta.turbine.com/signup/default.html) page to try your shot at it. Being a a member of their message boards (http://www.ddo.com/forums/register.php) increases your chances to qualify..

Nowhere in the process does it say that, though it does ask you for your name if you have one. At the end of sign-up, it even says, "Feel free to join the forums if you haven't already!"

but they are in closed alpha right now. it's on their main page. closed alpha just started. not beta.

the devs have stated in the forums that they will hand-pick (and randomly pick) people from the forums in the earlier rounds. you just have a better chance with a forum account.

I don't know how the rest of its going to go but I loved how the silly verification code was "anu5s". That made my day, oh computers how you can be unintentionally amusing.

I forgot to put my D&D forum name in the box... ..I saw it right as the next page was loading. Oh well, if I don't get in I will not cry.. besides... I am already in a few other beta tests right now.

Thanks for this newspost Im going to sign up, Wow is starting to bore me right now (great game but now I want to do something else) and im actually playing Star Wars Galaxies again.
