DMC4 Demo Thursday

That’s the news we get from Capcom, formally letting the internet know that the demo will hit on Thurday 24th. Now whether this is going to be released on Xbox Live in Japan we can’t say, but it will certainly hit Japan’s Playstation Store.
I'll give it a shot. I haven't played a DMC game since the first, but the newest God of War-esque trailer has me interested.

I never played any of the previous DMC games, but I played this at E3 and didn't care for it at all.

In the latest issue of OPM UK it stated that once you get half way through DMC4 you have to go back and replay everything you've just done?

I've never played DMC before and some of the preview videos looked pretty enough to warrant a purchase. Having seen the game on a HD telly and hearing about this I may very well be skipping another edition.

DMC 1 and 3 were awesome. I am really looking foward to this, so hopefully I will be able to check out the demo on my 360.

I love me some DMC. If 4 is anything like 1 or 3 it should be excellent. 2 sucked really badly though, I even had a same day review of it up on the site I used to write for. Back then EB still had the "bring back in 14 days if you don't like it for full money back" deal going on and I obviously used it on that one.

I think the demo is coming to the US as well, either this week or next on both 360 and PS3.

i don't like the practice of releasing certain demos only to certain territories for a limited time. If a game will only be available in Japan, it makes sense to keep the demo local, but forcing people to make different accounts to play a demo is bullshit.

I think it actually comes out in Japan this week or next, so they're putting it out right before release. I think they're doing the same for the US.

They're not forcing you. I'm pretty sure they're against it. That being said, I think I still have my JP account. I liked the third one so I'll be downloading this one. I probably won't buy it, Ninja Gaiden is getting my money.
