It is not a typo, it's just a misread. There is always a teaser for next issues previews/reviews. It just so happens the cover story is about Sony, and 3 of the big name previews are for Sony too. Check the previous issue.

That's because Sony Entertainment made games for other consoles before it made PS, I believe and some of the Sony games on Nintendo were already in the works when Sony and Nintendo were going to work together, but Nintendo owned the rights.

When someone says "...with as much respect as I can muster..." they are offering you anything but respect. What it really means is "I have no respect for you." It is a fairly proven fact when your next sentence asks me if I am an idiot.

Microsoft is publishing the game on the 360. That is true. What about other platforms? I don't mean to call YOU an idiot but let's pose a question. Has any game in the history of gaming ever had more than one publisher for different platforms? Has that ever happened in the history of the human race?

How about Jade Empire?

And that was a well made and prominent Xbox title.

Some people are also the master of assumptions around here. I was not saying that NG2 was positively coming to the PS3 though it is interesting. It may or may not be indicative of anything other than a print error and a copy editor's incompetence. I do find it a little bit of a comeuppance and a slap in the face when Dan Hsu is bawling over being cut off by certain publishers yet the next issue page of his company's publication can't manage to correctly state a title's platform(s). Especially when said title is of such a high profile nature.

The last time I checked, Microsoft was the Xbox360 publisher but Ninja Gaiden 2 is a Tecmo game made by Team Ninja, not a Microsoft game. Otherwise, Ninja Gaiden Sigma would be a Microsoft game on a Sony platform. Some sites such as IGN are listing NG2 with dual publishers - MS and Tecmo.

Personally I see a timed exclusive thing happening here. Either it'll be like an MGS: subsistence thing where the game will be open for Sony to be the publisher in a year, maybe a year in a half.
Option two would be like the original NG, which would see the release of NG2 on the PS4... but I doubt that since NG1 was held back for the PS3 since the PS2 didn't have the balls to run it.
Option three would be a contract by MS that locks NG2 onto the 360. I'm not sure if tecmo would agree to something like that, but since MS and Tecmo and Bungie have all had really close ties in the past I don't see why this wouldn't be possible.
