Do std cell phone earpiece/headsets work with Live?

I'm on my 4th Blu-Tooth earpiece for my cell (3 Motorolas and a currently a Jawbone) and I'm about fed up with the drops, slow connections etc. I get sick of wondering whether my call will be on my Jawbone or my cell phone and switching back and forth in the middle of a call like an idiot. "Hello? hello? Are you there? Sorry, having problems with my earpiece...". :mad:

Anyway, if the standard wired earpiece/headsets work with Live (I thought they did, but can't remember) I'll buy one with double duty in mind.

They did with the original xbox, I am pretty sure they do not with the 360.

If it fits in the headset jack then it should. It worked on the original Xbox, and the Xbox headset worked on my old phone as well.

They absolutely 100% work with the 360. In fact, you could just get the new style 360 headset as your wired headset. It's got the mute switch and volume dial in-line.

Thanks guys. I'll probably order a nice one on eBay and it can serve double duty.
