GameVideos has a new video up with nothing but glowing praise (http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/17150) for the new Wipeout game on PSP.
I'm freaking psyched about this game. I've been a huge fan since the first game and the new iteration looks to be even better than Pure was. Any other Wipeout fans out there?
EDIT: FYI, the release date on this is next month, but it's already out in the UK.

Pure was a return to form, and it is win. For those who haven't played it, you should. It is super cheap. Great racer. I hope Pulse does even better, which if this is any indication, it will.

Ever play Wipeout Pure?
I bought it at the PSP launch. I loved the game, just not as much as Lumines. Does Liverpool plan to have as much free DLC as they had for Pure?
I didn't even know about this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wipeout_Pulse#Skins)...
"Another new feature in Wipeout Pulse is the new ship customization features. The official website has a Flash-based page where players can create their own skin for any ship, then they can download their created skin from the internet via their PSP."
If I had a PSP still I would definitely pick this up. I love the idea of the Photo Mode, and I've always been a fan of the WipEout soundtracks. In addition, this one appears to have infrastructure options for online multiplayer! That's how good games become great...
...I am going to need a PSP Slim in the near future.

I have pure, I really like it, and dig the presentation the psp offers in terms of visuals and oomph, but dam me if I dont hate the controls, my hands start to hurt and I cant get that old flow back, or at least not for long.
Still, ill grab this, for a portable racer can we get better? maybe, but not by much.

I want Wipeout HD more. Sounds like it's just like Pure and Pulse (a remix even), but Wipeout should be played on a big screen with loud speakers.

If you aren't already a fan Pure probably isn't going to change anything, but for Wipeout fans it's arguably the best game in the series.

I actually bought that album way back just for that song. I still listen to it pretty often.
I doubt I'm going to have the cash to pick up Pulse when it comes out, not with God of War and Crisis Core coming out so soon after it. But I'll get it eventually, since Pure was the single reason I bought a PSP back when I did.

I use it as a work out song on my Ipod. :D
On the last(fast) verse, I normally blow my heart rate way over what I normally have my monitor set.
