Which game from your past would you like to have as a downloadable game on PSN or Arcade? Wii gamers have had a wave of old classics. And arcade has some really ancient ones. But what game of your arcade or 8-16-32 bit console of choice would you like to see again on your brand new HD console?
Me?
Konami has been to absent for me for a long while. SoTN was awesome as a game and a DL. but after that?
So I vote - Parodius, Pop n Twinbee and Zombies ate my Neighbors. And a bit of Tiny Toons, but that will never happen.
Sega (come on, do something right. Sonic 1&2 and SoR2 were a good start)
- Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Revenge of Shinobi (achievement, defeat Spiderman), Castle of Illusion, Gunstar Heroes.
Astal, 3 Wonders, Marvel vs Capcom 2, SF3.
Yours?

I would pay for Gradius III with co-op...:D
I'm not at ALL impressed by the VC for Nintendo. Releasing ROMs is not my idea of a great deal. I'm no pirate, but at least convince me I'm getting something other than the right to download something that's long ago dead, buried, and available free all over the Internet. XBLA has it right in updating older titles with co-op, online competitions, and graphics. That, to me, is respecting the consumer...rather than VC double-dipping.

A Multiplayer Shining Force would be damn cool. Or a complete remake of Beyond Oasis.Pretty much any SF and Marvel Arcade game. I thought it'd be cool to see The Simpson arcade game on Live I remember pouring coins into that thing. Hell any Arcade Beat'm'Up with MP would be kick ass. Seriously Final Fight Online would have my cash in a heartbeat.

Juggernaut, Hulk, and Zangief. Slow but deadly.

I'm waiting for Raiden/Raiden II to show up. I've got the arcade board for Raiden (Kangaroo and SF2 as well) but they're a pain to get set up and playing.

Sure, why not. Add C64 or Amiga games if you want.

I had a great time with it. The controls could have been better, and it got frustrating at times. I'm quite sure upon further consideration it wouldn't hold up at this point.

I believe that's a compilation of the Raiden Fighters series that are part of the "Let's make this even more insane so only 12 year-olds hopped up on smack have a chance" portion of the history of schmups (1996 on).
Raiden came out in '90 and Raiden II came out in '93, I think. A semi-slower, gentler, more thinking-man's schmup. I:o

never played MvsC2, but in #1, Megaman had the most powerful super combo in the game, the Hyper Megaman. Did more damage than anything else.
I enjoyed saving up till level 3, then unleashing a custom combo and outright killing one opponent in one go.

I want a remake of the Pokemon Gold and Silver Versions for WiiWare! It's going to be necessary soon, because of internal battery failure (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Gold_and_Silver#Internal_battery_fail ure) and the fact that very few people are going to be willing to buy new batteries and solder them onto the board. But, yeah, those were the best Pokemon games of all time. They had the best legendaries, best starters, Cell Phone, Radio, the Bug-Catching Contest and even gave players the chance to run through Kanto again and have a showdown with Red. Game Freak went all-out on the original games, but a remake could be really badass if done appropriately!

Oh, bummer. I have 2 and 3 as well, I hear that 3 is the pariah.
If you have a PSP Phantasy Star 2, 3 and 4 are on the Sega Genesis Collection (http://www.sega.com/games/game_temp.php?game=genesiscollection), just in case you didn't already know.

Wouldn't it be nice if all console manufacturers has a site to which owners of the consoles would add their votes to games that they would like to see be produced/reproduced/ported?
like if the suggestions in this thread could be added to a DB and have owners (and sometimes non owners) or the respective consoles vote for which one they would like?
would something like this benefit the manufacturers and/or consumers?
just thinking out loud, here, y'all let me know what you think.

It might just be a case of the game not standing up to people's standards today. I replayed it only recently and loved it, but the random encounters and grindfest spoiled a bit of the rosey memory I had. If you're not too far into it I would suggest just keeping with it a little longer and especially tinkering with some of the Macros to see what cool combinations you can pull off in combat.

It'd be cool to have the GBC version of Dragon Warrior 3(the only reason I still own my GBA SP) on the Virtual Console, it'd be really nice if they used the SNES remakes instead, but that's just a pipe dream.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World. 1st "real" videogame I ever played, except for Game & Watch games.
Sonic 1 (Sega Master System version). While Sega keeps porting the 16 bit version to a shitload of new platforms, I still haven't found a port of the 8-bit version anywhere. They're not even close to the same games so that kinda sucks.
Rampart. Online multiplayer too, please.
Klax. I wouldn't even mind a virtual console release for this one. I loved it back then.

Nice one. Sega's Disney games are probably (along with the Capcom ones like Magical Quest) some of the best. It's quite strange that I don't really like most of the Disney animated stuff (not counting Pixar), I can't stand characters bursting out in song (I hate musicals). But the games used to be pretty good in the past. As long as they weren't based on an actual movie but on a character like Donald (Quackshot) or Mickey.
