I loved the original at the time. Not sure if it has held up though...

Does anyone else find the metallized "We Three Kings" somewhat... lacking?

I loved it, too...then I tried it again about 3 years ago...result: pain.

Not sure how the gameplay holds up anymore, but I know I would cringe at the live action scenes if I played the game again. I do remember one ending (of a multitude) where the villain supposedly roasted the pilots and ate them. He subsequently choked to death on a bone or somesuch, and the game informed you that this did not in fact mean you won.

Nostalgia causes one hell of a hangover.

I like Snakeball! I really dig the style, music, and sounds. I haven't played much, just a few of the training missions, but I really like it so far.

Wow! Demos to downloadable games, PS1 titles, game demos, DLC content for popular games plus free content as well, and two games for the Eye Toy??? Impressive. If only every update could be this nice.
Oh, and note to Sony... I'm getting pretty tired of waiting to give you my money for PS1 titles and soon I may find my own way to get them on my PSP.

Sony, what the hell, if there actually is a demo ready for a downloadable game, and the demo is published on the US store, there is NO FUCKING REASON not to put the same demo on the European store instead of forcing us to buy it to try it.

It's done by Steve Ouimette, the same guy who did the remake of Devil Went Down To Georgia for the game, so I was expecting it to be face-rapingly insane. While it definately sounds shredtastic, GHIII's looser than a Spears sister ho/po system makes it a bit of a cake walk.

Demos need to be the rule, not the exception, for downloadable games. It's definitely good to see them, but we shouldn't be surprised when they happen. I'll give these a shot when I get home.

Sure there is. The demo might feature content objectionable in some territories. Perhaps it has red blood, for instance?
Probably isn't the issue, though, it is probably the same thing it usually is, Sony letting each territory handle things the way they want to.

Patience is a virtue. Piracy? Not so much. :)
If I still had PS1 media sitting around(actually I think I do have FF9, Parasite Eve 1&2, and Persona around here somewhere), I would be comfortable using alternative methods to play those games on PSP.

So the verdict is that the original Warhawk isn't worth picking up? I never had a PS1, so I missed out on most of the big PS1 titles, though I played the best ones on my PS2.

Like others have said, it was great fun when originally released, but that ws an era where the whole idea of a 3D world to fly in was a novel one. YMMV.

Yeah, and the result is that the EU store is a complete joke. Everyday Shooter still hasn't showed up over here. It's strange really; Sony spend much money on marketing to keep Europe theirs, but they spend no time on providing customers with content on the EU PSN Store.

Dunno how different the Eu store is from the AUS store but we pretty much get stuff around the same time as you, any idea when PAIN is coming out for the rest of us?
you EU might not get much but AUS isnt that bad, im pretty sure that we had some of the PSeye games for a few weeks now, the free music videos and Egames Expo coverage doesnt hurt either :)

Funny, I've been playing all my old PS1 games on my PSP for months now. Vagrant Story is pretty damn neat.

Oh, I hear you. Since Sony obviously doesnt' want my money that I want to give them, I'll be playing all my PS1 games soon anyway.
I'm stoked for Klonoa on the road.

I get a kick that Sony can print a weekly release list like this, where MS has too much content going up to do so. Hell, checking Major Nelson for updates gives me a headache.
Edit: Sans sarcasm though, I think Sony would be smarter to post these as individual announcements. From a PR perspective, you'll get more coverage and it will "seem" like there's more coming out than a one-shot list gets into peoples head.

Snakeball is a very neat game indeed! If I wasn't so swamped with games already, I'd definitely buy it. It's got a certain style to it that really appeals to me, and it looks like it'd be a fun multiplayer game.
