Picks of the Week
Birds of Prey #113 - Is it me, or was Sean McKeever announced as writer of this book, like a year ago? I know it came way before he was announced as the new Teen Titans writer, and I think he's on his third or fourth issue of that book. Still, Birds of Prey is one of my favorite books, so I'm excited to see where he goes with the characters.

Justice League of America #16 - McDuffie's first arc was fun if not terribly original. But I'm worried that this book is about to come down with a case of Crisis-itis. A trip to the Tangent Universe, followed by a visit to the Salvation Run planet. One of these days I'd like to see JLA be the genesis of a story instead of a hanger on.

Mighty Avengers #6 - Another six issue story that's taken almost a full year to tell. I like Frank Cho as an artist, but Marvel had to know that he couldn't keep a monthly schedule.

Question of the Week - It's solicitations time, with DC (http://www.newsarama.com/dcnew/March08/solicitations.html), Marvel (http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Mar08/solicitations.html) and Dark Horse (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=12560) giving store owners and readers a peek at what we'll be buying this March. So what looks good, what looks interesting, what cover blows you away

Special Report - The new episode of Johnny Gigawatt and the Tiger Men from Mars is now available (http://www.podshow.com/shows/?mode=detail&episode_id=91524). On this episode: Countdown, comic movies and manga?!?
