1up (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3164997) has a new video for Bionic Commando. The video is called Smash and Throw.

This game is really getting my attention. I wonder if there will be a faux swearing Hitler at the end again.

It's definitely looking good but for some reason watching that video just made me want a sequel to Psi-ops. (http://xbox.ign.com/objects/545/545781.html)

That looked great. I saw the pics from the recent Game Informer and it looks like it is going down a good road Development wise.

I still have issues with his arm being nothing more than a HUGE pack of Ballpark Franks (http://www.ballparkfranks.com/). ;) I would love to see a Wii version so you could REALLY getting into throwing your hotdogs around.

I hope they get the framerate done right. With alot happening I can see this game's framerate dropping alot.

Hmmm this game looks like it has serious potential to make good use of the Wiimote (if they ever decide to make a Wii port) :)

I seem to remember Hitler's head exploding at the end thanks to my leet bazooka skills, so if he appears again in this game, I will be very disappointed. How about Himmler? I think he was a bit more evil anyway. I am definitely all in favor of neo-nazis being the enemies again. (Even though I don't really remember references to anything nazi until Hitler showed up)

Apparently in addition to a bionic arm the commando can make himself immaterial, allowing the crate he's whipping around to pass through him on the wind-up. Good to see they're playing with the formula like that. ;)
In all seriousness, though, it looks like it could be fun. One to keep a cautious eye on.

I was just playing the original on my DS. This almost felt kinds meh. His dreadlocks is throwing me off.

Not to mention I guess the guy weighs about 3 tons so he can throw trucks around instead of the arm just violently whipping the mans body into shit. :p

I'm not really a realism whore, it does look like a lot of fun. Just amused me.

For some reason that did nothing at all for me, ....must.... drink ....coffee.... first. And must be the prototype video a saw recently . Great action in games in 2008!

This is looking really good, i wonder if the grappling gun from Lost Planet was the initial inspiration for doing a next gen Bionic Commando. I hope this is like Crackdown, a game with solid and fun toys to play around with in an interesting envirement. I loved Dead Rising, but the save system eventually led me to abandon the game unfinished, and Lost Planet had lacklustre controls. Hopefully theyve ironed out alll the next gen production problems by now, as DMC4 and this look really promising. Capcoms been all hits for me lately, new IP's, remaking and sequels to street fighter, and of course RE5 on the horizon.
