Operating System: Windows® 98SE/Me/2000/XP
Processor: Pentium® III 800 MHz or faster

Video: 32 MB Hardware T&L-compatible video card*
Sound: Windows® 98SE/Me/2000/XP-compatible sound card

I've played through it a couple of times and it has the Infocom interactive fiction feel along with 3d graphics. I'll keep an eye (or two) on this one.

The demo is very short but extremely promising. Let's hope they don't overdo the action aspect of the game.

Fahrenheit = Indigo Prophecy. I believe the latter is the name now.
This had a lot of hype post-E3, let's see what the demo brings.

The Demo is amazing I have to say. I love what these guys did for Omikron, which is possibly one of the most amazing games ever. My hopes are high now.
CyCo23, Indigo Prophecy is the North American name now, in Europe it's still Fahrenheit. Just thought i'd clear that up for you.

I've played through this demo several times, there are lots of little things (the phone, the tv report, ordering a coffee, the jukebox) that are interelated, like if you use the phone you can't use the jukebox. Interface is nice, personally I prefer something with a little more freedom like Deus Ex (which could handle all the stuff like picking up bodies and using objects and dropping stuff) but I can see the advantage of seeing your options narrowed down for you. I like how if the officer is going towards the bathroom you can place money down without looking at the receipt.
One thing I don't like is the Resident Evil 1 style "tank" controls. That style of control has been abandoned by most games with a fixed camera in favor of the simpler "press left you move left" controls. Or at least give a choice. While I have no trouble moving around that way it's really needlessly tough for less experienced gamers.
And I loved the Rod Sterling-esque beginning.

The demo was great and I'm really looking forward to this game now. This was an excellent example of how a game company generate interest by using a demo. Before this I was mildly interested in the game but now its a must buy.
I think this story was up on the page a few days back but oh well /shrug.

Hmm... will it run on an iBook?
Anyway, I think I'll pick this up for Xbox, based entirely on the ambition evinced by the developers.

Ah, thanks. FileShack still has it listed as Fahrenheit, too.

I played it. It's pretty good, although quite short. Along with The Longest Journey 2, this has to be the best publicized adventure game in recent memory.

Sorry. I did a search before posting, however I did search on EA for "Fahrenheit", not "Indigo Profecy".
I spent all yesterday's evening playing and re-playing this little scene. Fahrenheit is the closest thing to a movie I've seen. I especially enjoyed the split-screen for when the cop is getting up and walks towards the bathroom. Everything is so logical: for example when you get out of the bathroom without washing the blood off, you bump into the waitress and she screams. You have a few seconds to run away before the cop approaches.
