I guess Bethesda finally figured out a work around. I agree with you about Pain. I was ready to buy at 5-7 bucks but not expecting 10. I'm waiting on a few word of mouth reviews before I decide if I will buy it at that price.

See, Pain's the kind of game that a demo could really sell. But without a demo, what are we going to do, trust reviews, that are apparently for sale everywhere now?

I picked it up. I expected $10, not that $5 wouldn't have been better.

I have to say, I only finished the tutorial (which was pretty long) but I think it's exactly what I was looking for.

It made me laugh out loud several times, already. It's basically a more fleshed out Stair/Truck dismount, with pretty graphics and a larger environment. If you like those games, you'll like Pain.

A demo is definitely something it should have, but I think I'm really going to enjoy this game.

Edit: Played a little more of it. It's still a really fun game, but it doesn't look like it has a ton of content. I think there is only one city, and it shows four Characters, 3 unlocked, one locked. Yet when I select 2 our of the 3 is tells me that there was a problem and I should download them again? Not sure what's going on there.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet.

Looks like the PSN is finally getting some decent content. Still not quite where I'd expect it to be for this time of year, but definitely nice. Can't wait to see where they are this time next year.

I'm not sure about PAIN. It looks ok, and if I get it, it'll probably be an impulse buy. It's nice to see Shivering Isles finally up for download, but I'd still rather just grab the disc. What can I say, I'm a sucker for having the actual disc.
