Evil Avatar Child's Play Charity Drive

Day 5 of our Child's Play Charity Drive (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?pageid=childsplay) is upon us.

This year, as a community, Evil Avatar.com is holding our own donation drive to help benefit Child's Play (http://www.childsplaycharity.org). After hitting out initial goal of $1000 in just a day and half, our new goal is an additional $2000!

We are now VERY close $2000 in donations!

So here's what we are going to do, after reaching this goal and unlocking that achievement, we'll set the bar even higher, by trying to achieve 2000 additional dollars in donations! For every achievement I'll throw in another item donated on behalf of the Evil Avatar community.

Tycho updated the Child's Play Site (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/), noting that they've already hit $198,000 in donations (last year, they got a total of $260k, and their goal this year is $760k).

I was just on the PA site. You'd think with the bad rep gaming gets from time to time more of the bigger names would step up in the name of gaming. <shrug>

I just added a little to the pot myself. Based on the latest standings, enough to hit the second goal. Wish I could offered to be a true philanthropist.

Somehow I feel as if we have hit the second $1000 mark... being that I donated after things were posted and my name isn't on the list yet... I wonder what they are hiding from us?

Same here. Can we still share credit as the guys who got over the second goal? No glory for starting the next one. :D

I'm pretty sure you have to explicitly request to have your name added to the list if you want it on there.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay of updating the list. It should have everyone on it now.

We are doing REALLY well right now, and I think we might even be able to hit $4000 by the end of our drive (December 1st). Right now we are at 2300!
