RIAA's Shutdown of RPGfilms.net = FALSE

This is an update to this earlier thread (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3922).

Boing Boing (http://www.boingboing.net/2005/07/27/riaa_we_didnt_take_d.html) has posted a short question and answer session with Jenni Engebretson, director of communication for the RIAA, where she emphatically asserts that they did not shut down RPGfilms.net.

The RIAA has not initiated any communication or legal action against RPG Films. It appears as though someone may have found and copied an old RIAA notice and filled it in with RPG Film web site information -- regardless, the link included in this posting is not an authentic RIAA notice.
Seems the outcry for revolution is a bit hasty now, eh?

Any other time and I'd slink through your window like a ninja, stuff a warm sock in your mouth while you sleep, and repeatedly clout you with a rubber phallus. I'd then shave you raw with a rusty razor, douse you in pig urine, and break each of your toes individually with a ballpeen hammer. For a finale, I'd stuff the crotch of a morbidly obese lady's undies, one who hasn't showered in a week, up into your nostrils, followed by a generous dose of lye, leaving a bottle of vinegar just out of reach. With that I creep away back into the ebony evening.
