Well we are on Day 2 of our Child's Play Charity Drive (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?pageid=childsplay).
This year, as a community, Evil Avatar.com is holding our own donation drive to help benefit Child's Play (http://www.childsplaycharity.org). Our goal? One Thousand Dollars. But it seems I've vastly underestimated this community's generosity as we are already 75% to our goal!
In one day we took over $750 in donations! You guys rock!
So here's what we are going to do, after reaching this goal and unlocking that achievement, we'll set the bar even higher, by trying to achieve 2000 additional dollars in donations! For every achievement I'll throw in another item donated on behalf of the Evil Avatar community.

All details can be found over on our Child's Play Page (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?pageid=childsplay).

Very, very nice. I will have to try to donate before the drive is over.

Every donation is awesome so don't get me wrong, but what I really want to know is who donated $7? :)
I actually also plan on giving a Wii or similar to the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital through Child's Play, but I'd love to have it count towards the Ev Av drive. Any way to count individually-directed donations into our drive total amount?

Well I finally managed to donate. Only $15 but my means are slim and my charitable contributions many and varied. Paypal was playing "let's eat a packet of cocks!" I needed to change my email address and credit card details and the page was loading at sub-dial up speeds so that took about half an hour just to do two simple tasks. Then to top it off their conversion wanted me to pay a dollar more than when I set it to let my bank decide the conversion rate.

I donated, not much, but its all I have at the moment.
And NO,I wasn't the $7 dollar guy.

Heh, this is the first time I've seen myself since the makeover. I look good.

有一个问题...
I have a question ... if I donate, say, $20, and my account has $20.30 in it, will there be any hidden service charges that cause me to overdraft? I have a PayPal account (having a hell of time getting into it, though ...), and I don't recall them charging anything ...

nice! almost there already. Glad to see quite a few people donated already. We should double this goal easily since we already had quite a few people said they will donate once pay day hits.

In theory, no there shouldn't be any extra charges. But then again, they do like to play "let's eat a packet of cocks!" on occasions.

Who cares who donated $7? $1, $7 or $100 it all goes to a good cause and we all should donate what we can. Ingrates. :p
If I could afford it, I would donate $666. That way I could have the evilest donation and, well, that's about it. Then again, I could have donated $6.66 and still technically be there. lol

Do we have a way to have our individual contributions count for EvAv and/or a way to maintain tax deductible status?
