My TRU is going out of business at some nebulous point in the future, and seems like they get about 1 in every 10 new releases. I'm assuming SMG will be a big enough release for them to get it though. Of course, I wish they had it tomorrow which I think is the offiicial release date, instead of Tuesday, when I'm working.

There are several good titles for the Wii out this month. I planned on waiting until Christmas for Mario Galaxy, but with that gift card I can get Ghost Squad for only $5 plus tax. Sweetness.

So, while most such TRU promotions work across all platforms, this one will be for Wii games only. It begins the week of the 18th, so Mario Galaxy does not qualify. If you do buy SMG this week, though, you can use your $25 gift card and essentially get 3 full-priced games for $75.

Nice deal, I just bought Halo Legendary version the other day, and received a $20 gift card because i bought over $100 in software before taxes. I'll just use that to buy Mario, and receive another gift card. They seem to be handing alot of these out lately. At Canadian TRU's, if you spend $100 on videogames you get a $20 gift card. Any game, accessories, or consoles.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant the deal this thread is dedicated to. The $25 gift card you get for buying SMG is an offer that expires on the 17th. The B2G1 deal kicks in on the 18th.

I just wanted to point out that you can't piggyback both deals in any way. Besides, the B2G1 deal gives you an excuse to use the $25 gift card.

Does that make more sense?
