A free-flowing game during which players can assume the role of multiple characters and experience the game from multiple viewpoints, Indigo Prophecy allows players' actions to affect the plot by offering a scenario driven interactive experience.
As promised Atari Europe has released a multilangauge demo for Quantic Dreams action/adventure game Indigo Prophecy allowing you to check out the opening part of the game.
You can grab the Indigo Prophecy demo (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26976) (296mb) off WorthPlaying

w00t, been looking forward to this one. Should be "interesting" at the very least.
Anyone know what the deal is with the name change? Fahrenheit in EU, Indigo Prophecy in the US.

From what I hear the name change is done by Atari US, so it would not be associated with Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 movie.
Whether that is true or not, no idea, but it would make sense.

I just finished checking out the demo, and I have to say it's AWESOME! I can't wait for it to come out. The camera controls need to be revamped a bit and the mouse movement stuff has a few kinks, but overall it's a solid little joy ride. I especially like the intro where the one of the developers speaks to you about the game... almost as if it was a director's cut.

Sounds good dojo, I'm downloading it now.
The trailer makes it look as though it has an cool story, and the multiple charachter perspective (playing as the hunter AND the hunter) should be interesting.
What sort of adventure is it? Straight up puzzle solving or action oriented?

I'm not entirely certain. I got the impression from the teaser trailer and the "Making of" trailer that it was action adventure, but the gameplay seemed like it was a straight up adventure game. Regardless the freedom of choice for the storyline is very nice.

I've been waiting for this one for a while now. I played Omicron years ago and since then have been keeping an eye for another title by this developer.
If this game is anything like Omicron then it will contain both action and puzzle solving.

Lol it was pretty fun, only thing that pissed me off is how short the demo is. I want more!
Sigh, guess I gotta go buy the game.
Best way to check this game out is with all the lights off, at night, with the surround sound turned up high. Not exactly scary... just... creepy :P
4/5 on the demo, only because it wasn't long enough. Reminds me of the old school Alone in the Dark in a way.

For some reason I experienced major texturing and clipping problems that made the demo too unplayable. However, this game has been topping my most wanted list for some time now and the small bit of the demo I did play has only raised my interest even more. It has also cemented my assumption that this game will probably play better on the consoles, as the intuitive control scheme seems like it will be better suited to a controller than a keyboard and mouse. I will definitely be picking this up for the XBOX in September.

One more item on the shopping list! It is definitely a console game though.

The Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit demo isn't working for me. When I download the zipped folder, it won't open, it just hangs up my system. I've tried redownloading several times, from all of the mirrors available on Worthplaying. Is it possible that the file is corrupted on the DL server end? I have no trouble decompressing other zipped folders. Is it possible for someone with a working copy of the file to make it available to me, or link me to a mirror that works? The Worthplaying mirrors do NOT work for me. Thanks.

I didn't download it from Worthplaying. I downloaded it from a Torrent on 3DGamers.com (http://www.3dgamers.com). Torrents always tend to be much faster in my opinion.
