i don't think the store in the Northridge Fashion Center is gonna be large enough for this to work, but that's assuming ANYONE actually shows up with any reasonable skill

It'd be nice if instead of announcing stupid shit like this, Activision announces when the hell they plan on shipping Guitar Hero III for the Wii in Montreal. Not a single store has it. Tons of 360 and PS2 copies...not a single Wii one.

The Chicago one is this Thursday. Fuck, if this just came out then they're doing a shitty job of giving people time enough to take off work on a weekday.

Then again, it's at Hot Topic (http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/index.jsp). They'll be getting mallrats, retards and the unemployed to show up - in other words, their regular clients. Oh, and the elderly as they're going on their morning constitutional walk. I do hope some old fart wins!

11/12 is a holiday. 11/11, the Veterans Day, falls on a Sunday this year, so the federal holiday is moved to 11/12, Monday.

oh, wow, that's actually not to far from here.

I don't think i can compare to some of the guys I've seen who can already beat Through the Fire and Flames, but it might be fun to try...

Well the closest one to me is in Atlanta, a five-hour drive.

I can't beat the game on Expert, but in my defense that devil is a cockgobbling cheater. I did, however, manage to get all five stars on Hard. Still, I'm not sure if my skill is enough to carry me to a competition level, much less one that is five hours away.

Paramus, New Jersey? Seriously? As if any self-respecting New Yorker would be caught dead in New Jersey. If I want to make myself look like a fool playing Guitar Hero in front of a group of people I'll just head to Barcade in Williamsberg for their annual Child's Play fundraiser.

Check out this video of 6 guys beating Dragonforce Through the Fire and the Flame, on Expert. Freaking impossible! I wonder if they allow multiple person teams?
