Sam and Max just keep on giving!

With their next Santa-themed episode just around the corner, Episode 4: Abe Lincoln Must Die (http://www.fileplanet.com/182132/180000/fileinfo/Sam-&-Max:-Abe-Lincoln-Must-Die!-(Free-Game)) is free to download!

Fileplanet, you crack me up little buddy. Easily the finest episode chosen from season 1

Have these episodes been any good? I haven't had time to check them out.

They're alright and worth checking out... I played through the first five(?) in a row, but after waiting for six I never bothered with it.

It should be noted that registration is required to download the game.

I just downloaded and played this at work. Loss of productivity FTW! I was actually impressed, and this convinced me to buy the other episodes. Fantastic way to market this game!

More games need musical numbers.

If you played and enjoyed older point and click adventure games, then I can't imagine why you haven't already played this series. Otherwise I would recommend giving it a shot just to see if you like adventure games.

Not only have I done that, I also have a few Sam & Max comic books around here somewhere. Honestly I was just waiting till I could just buy them in the store. I never wanted GameTap.

Now that's funny.

And in other news, Sam n Max are utterly awesome, the first season is sublime from start to finish, and if you don't all play it immediately, there'll be trouble. Don't make me come down there.

To paraphrase Max; "let's play a game. Smell these two handkerchief's and tell me which one smells more like chloroform."

:D

I think this is also free on Gamtetap.com. I was trying out the free stuff about a week ago, and saw it. I think. Its early.

Sam and Max is just one of many games I keep meaning to play...but haven't yet.

I have only played the demos, and they didn't wow me enough to make me buy the games when there are so many other games coming out. However if I like this enough I probably will buy season one, if I have the money.

This is totally worth downloading. I love the entire first season, and can't wait for season 2 to kick off. This was one of my favorite episodes too.

I've got the emails confirming my purchases hiding somewhere, but retrieving the purchase info was a real bit of trouble for me the last time I tried. Next time, I'm buying every episode on Steam to save me the effort.

Four was the one with the awesome war song, right? A great moment in gaming history that should not be missed. Even if it's on Youtube now.

Reality 2.0 was better anyway.

Was that the episode with the text based adventure end boss that I ended up with an ulcer over?
