For those like myself who are anxious to play Boiling Point on PC but who are not willing to risk the health and well-being of their beloved PC, Deep Shadows (http://www.deep-shadows.com/en/) (the game's developer) sends along word that a spanking new patch will soon be available - taking the retail version to 2.0.

Click on the above link for news, albeit brief.

Patch 2.0 has already been released in Russia. EU & US version will be available soon. Right now ATARI does final testing. Thanks everybody for comments on our site they help us greatly.

This game has intrigued me like no other and I can't wait to play a working version...

Come on Atari! Release this already.

It's not like you tested the original version...

Sounds cool. Strange that I've never heard of it.

It could be cool if this patch is any good.

I got tired of constantly restarting the game.

If they get this thing mostly working, I am so there. The concept alone nearly convinced me to purchase this earlier (the bug reports convinced me not to).

Their website is useless and slow. What exactly is this game about?

Oh, and ignore the fact that 'Habib Marwan' is on the cover!

Wow sounds like it needs a version 3 before it will be fixed, let alone 2.

Man... the thing that annoys me the most is that the game has a canned death sequence. Only one. That you see everytime you shoot someone.

It (the '2.0' patch) actually brings the game to 1.02, AFAIK.

Sure there are issues with the game, but I've been putting tons of hours into the game, and it is in far better shape than disasters like Dungeon Lords, or messes like Restricted Area ... and unlike Pariah or the Postal 2 expansion, this is actually fun.

God damn, I might be able to play my copy yet!

If ever there was a game needing a few months more dev time, this was it.
