It's got a 95% consensus on Rotten Tomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/close_encounters_of_the_third_kind/), which is enough to make me interested in it.

Alright. I mean, I know it was Spielberg, but you just don't hear much about it.

It was early in his career (1977). Things like ET and Jaws were much more mainstream. Close Encounters is a drama/Sci-Fi movie which does not resonate as much with people.

I assume Twisted Metal 2 will work on both the PS3 and the PSP, if so, that is awesome.

Pro-Street sounds good, not sure about Timeshift, might download it...
Just wish if the PSN downloads were faster, I usually download demos when I go to sleep.

People haven't seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind?! *slaps forehead* You damn kids. They just don't make movies like that anymore.
I'm gonna buy the shit out of the Blu-Ray version. One thing I like about these high-def releases of old movies is they really seem to put you in the era. It may sound hokey, but it kinda feels like living during the time the movie came out.

I was born 12 years after the movie was made :p. It's just not something that has a wide popular appeal, nor have I ever seen it listed on a top movie list (not that those things are law, but my point was it's not ALWAYS recommended).

Bah. I was born in 87 and I've seen it. It's a classic.
If I didn't still have my Twisted Metal 2 disc (and open firmware on my psp), I'd probably buy it off the store. That game is fucking classic.

The next thing you know they will be saying they do not know what a Drive-in is. Damn I miss those.

Close Encounters is one of Speilberg's best movies.
