Set in the Matrix universe, The Matrix: Path of Neo will enable players to actually play as Neo, the central character, and relive his most important and memorable scenarios from the complete film trilogy, including the original film, The Matrix.
Throughout the game, the path the player takes to resolve each scenario and the resulting consequences will be scripted and directed by the Wachowski Brothers. The likenesses of all of the films' key actors -- including Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus), Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity), and Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) -- will be featured in The Matrix: Path of Neo, which will also include footage from all three feature films, as well as The Animatrix.
WorthPlaying has some new screens, check out 10 new The Matrix: PoN screens here (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26887), and another 10 here (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26863).
I mean....it looks pretty. Man, I hate being a fanboy sometimes. Makes me spend money foolishly.

Meh, still looks like a HL1 mod.
Shiny went from being a great studio to producing some of the worst games on the market. The control for Enter the Matrix was absolute shit.
If they could create a Matrix game with a decent control scheme and original combat system, it'd be fun.
I played this at E3. Much better than the first matrix game. Fun and very true to the movie.

I found once I'd wrestled the controls into submission, I actually enjoyed Enter The Matrix. Shiny are a great developer, but being under Atari does them no favours.
The thing with Shiny is that they are great developers who have great ideas and great art. The ONLY thing that holds them back is that they work so slowly. If they had the chances that Blizzard has, as in taking however long they need to dev a game they would be like Oddworld Inhabitants on roids, if you know what I mean.

Anyone besides me remember the glory days of Earthworm Jim? Or even Wild 9? I loved that one.

I remember the glory days of MDK (original, not that... sequel) and Sacrifice. Hell, even Messiah was good in it's own ridiculously hard and somewhat buggy tech demo way.

Is anyone else able to get to the screens? I get a 404 error on both the specific page and the home page for Worth Playing. Perhaps just intermitent issues.
I think I'll be renting this one as well. It's tough to ignore the issues of the first game. It's tough to think that the same issues won't be present in a new game based on the same universe and made by the same developer.

I loved the first couple Earthworm Jim games. Nothing prepared me for being attacked by lawyers who open their briefcases to launch paperwork at you. That rocked. Still to this day I hear that sqeaky voice in my head crying out Ammo or Groovy.

Anyone else remember the Earthworm Jim cartoon? I even had the action figures.
This is the blog of the guy who created Earth Worm Jim and Neverhood(chars, not game).

He's one of those right wing wack jobs.
David Perry, head of Shiny said that Wiled 9 was going to be vastly different from what it turned out being. Something happened with the publisher that basicly put someone over Davids sholder the whole time telling them how to make the game. I forget all the spacifics but Shiny is still pissed about it.
The EWJ cartoon ran 2 seasons, never came out on DVD but all on VHS. Last place they have been seen is Dollar Gen type stores.

Tennapel's not that bad, really. His comics aren't evangelical, though they may have references to religion (IIRC, Creature Tech has a scene referencing both the crucifixion and the Green Lantern). Nothing like Chick Tracts though.
And there's a HD trailer of Path of Neo running around, downloadable from gametrailers.com.

Wow! Those 3d models and the facial expression rival that of the actors in the movie, especailly this shot here (http://www.worthplaying.com/press/185/TM_Path_of_Neo_047.jpg) its like Keanu is wondering if he poo pooed his pants or not from all the intense "acting", hes like "hey do you smell that?"
OMG TEH B&W SCNESE!!!!! 1337!!11111 Those fucktards that think they're japanese because they love obscure anime and talk japanese because they think, it makes them all deep, cool and intellecual(what are those called again? I used to know now I forget, if you know pm me), they also seem to be the matrix fanbois too, they'll eat that shit up.
As someone else said it indeed does resemble a HL1 mod.
I wish the last Earth Worm Jim game wasn't EWJ 3 :( that game made baby jesus cry. I wish that Shiny would somehow make a new EWJ game for GBA, that way they could get away with having it 2d sidescrolling, I know I'd buy it , if it were as good as most parts of the 2nd one.
