In a desperate attempt to prove that we do post video game news in addition to news about comic books and movies, Eidos Interactive sends along word that they have updated the official website for Tomb Raider: Legend (http://www.tombraider.com/) with new screenshots, wallpaper, game information and concept art.

Indeed! I posted another GTA:SA story to help balance things out. :)

If a dead franchise ships a game in the woods, does anyone care?! :)

Why oh why am I looking forward to another Tomb Raider game? I told myself that after the Darkness debacle (yes, I was still willing to be a true believer up until even that point), I was finished. No more Ms. Croft for me, thank you very much.

But I'm starting to get that twinge again. I am now finding myself wanting to explore crypts, hunt for rare artifacts that hold the key to civilization as we know, flip-jump to the side and shoot an unsuspecting pair of wolves in the depths of some uncharted cavern. I hate this game for looking pretty. I hate this game for getting my hopes up. And I hate myself most of all for even considering a purchase after all I've been put through.

This has to be the biggest breakup in my videogame history. Why am I even thinking about taking her back? And don't say the boobs.

haHA! Is that a subtle (or not-so-subtle) hint that I should quit posting so damn much about comics, movies, and combinations of the two?

Heh, I like having the other stuff. I just like it when it's spaced out over the norming gaming news more, not bunched up all at once (like it was today) is all. Though it could also be that I was grouchy that my PoP DS story got pushed off the front page almost immediately by a bunch of non-gaming stories. ;)

Phew. Good thing I didn't post any of those stories. Dodged that bullet!

Haha, I feel the same way.
