Skin & Bones is home to the highly anticipated (at least by me) short story, Agent Red. Written by your favorite "Evil" webmaster, Evil Avatar.

What people are saying (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0978970748/evilavatarcom-20) about Agent Red,

"A particular gem in the anthology is Philip Hansen's "Agent Red." It radiates snappy dialogue and characterizations in a gripping story of duty and honor in the midst of unrelenting horror.

This is an anthology that belongs in your collection and that special rotten place in your zombie lovin' heart!"

I hope you will pick up a copy and post comments Here (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33554).

Thanks!

-Evil

Well, there are ignorant people like me out there who just added it to my Amazon wish list...(Anyone else notice Amazon.ca has been screwing the pooch for the last week?)

Feel free not to answer if I'm overstepping here Evil, but just out of curiosity, do you get royalties for every copy sold or is it an upfront kind of deal for these compilations? I'm asking as more of a general question, not so much in regards to this specific book.

He probably got an advance, and then thats it? Or is that just how they did it back in the day? Like, you sell your story, and then they own it and get the money for it?

Despite not really being the target audience of this compilation of stories, I do want to congratulate Evil on being published. Cheers!

That front cover was pretty disturbing. :D

I just got my copy direct from Evil himself today.

I have to say, I wouldn't recommend opening the box and taking the book out in plain view of your wife and small children. I'm trying to figure out how/when I'll be able to read this book since the cover is FAR too graphic to take anywhere. I'll need a fake dust jacket to be able to read it :)

A friend of mine reminded me yesterday to do a front page post to let some additional readers know about the book.

I don't think I ever did a front-page post before.

I hadn't heard about this, if only some kind of electronic mail, an "e" mail if you will, could have been sent out to remind me.
Gently ribbing ya, Evil ... and I like how even the title of your story has an Evil Avatar bent. Also, why is the inviso-text color not available from the color dropdown box anymore?

Awww no one tells me shit. I never knew Evil did the whole writing malarky.

Top work on getting published. Always a buzz to see ones name in print.

I haven't read Evil's story yet but the first 2-3 stories are pretty interesting. It has been FAR too long since I read a good horror collection of short stories.
