View Full Version : Artist adds Female Streaker to Brian Lara International Cricket
One of the game's artists who is a fan of glamour model Lauren Pope, felt he needed to immortalise his favourite pinup. What better way than to include her stark naked (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/nid/330/1134/) as a streaker running onto the pitch when Brian Lara steps up to bat.

I hope it isn't prolonged scenes of intense nudity....that's an AO rating right there!

They didn't even remove it, just replaced the model with a naked man instead. Not clever.

We haven't had a good streaker during a match in years. Good to see them return.

Nah, it's okay. It's from Europe - ergo, it's art! :D

Oh, and I should mention to the person who submitted this news item that we don't normally approve news items with a strong sexual content.
You seem to be a fan of this Cricket title, so I think we can let this one slide.

Streakers were once a vital part of cricket that have been sadly missed as of late. Damn terrorists causing tighter security is what's done it.

I let it slide cuz the nudity portion was covered up when I checked the link out. With all the recent hoopla from hot coffee, i found it strangley appropriate! Oh no..we've been desensitized by Hot Coffee!

Classy. Nothing says "I love you" like adding your naked image to a game. Too bad they switched her out with a male streaker faster than you could say "double standard".

A male streaker jumping over the stumps? First, if I was naked and streaking, the last place I would be is near some guy with a bat looking to swat at balls. Second, miss your landing, fall back on the stumps, and welcome Cricket to the Bravo TV network!

Just read the review and it sounds awesome.
My favorite bit
You should be aware that the game only has the licence for player names in the ICC Tournaments and doesn't carry any license for player names or likenesses in any of the other game modes, so expect clever miss-spellings of player names, allowing you to easily identify your Flintoffs from the Warnes.
Don't know if it's the same in all sports games, but Internation Cricket on my NES had the same thing. If they remembered, then that's really cool.
The run out thing seems iffy though, for all the detail in the rest of the game, to skimp on that? Reviewer must have missed something, surely. Wouldn't be the first time a reviewer missed a part of the game.
Note to Americans, get this game and play a real sport for a change :p
Actually I wouldn't call it a sport, more the cornerstone of civilization.

I always thought the correct definition of Cricket was, "Baseball for pansies." ;)

I think this post is okay but it might have been a good thing to put "NSFW" or "prob NSFW" behind the link.

Actually, it is the residents of the planet Earth turning one of the great tragedies of galactic history into a silly game.
Brockian Ultra-Cricket is Ultra-tasteless, by the way.

I prefer "Baseball for people with talent" :p
Does Baseball take humidity, pitch conditions and ball wear into serious consideration. You catch a ball in the stands, you have to throw it back, the ball's condition is considered that important to the game.
Oh and Gray, if you can't work it out from the actual news item, you never will.
