Yea! More good new for the Phantom Game service. In order to pump the stock price. Someone devised a "fake" insider tip about Phantom. Gotta love that social engineering!

(Alleged by the SEC.)

Yafa sold the shares he had received as payment from AVL Global, reaping more than $300,000 in profit, the SEC said. Pickens received a copy of the fax from Sierra, and then modified it, replacing the ticker with Infinium's symbols and two other over-the-counter stocks: Data Evolution Holdings Inc. and Soleil Film Inc.

Pickens then blasted the fax to investors through Sierra's company, Vision Lab Telecommunications Inc., and made more than $300,000 by selling the stock, whose prices had as much as doubled after the issuance of the fax, the SEC said.

Several days after the fax was first sent, Infinium's shares rose precipitously. They closed at 47 cents on Dec. 17, up more than 80 percent from 26 cents, on very heavy volume of 6.9 million shares.

This fax thing was done earlier this year also. I'm surprised it's being done again.

Not again this is from the time on or about December. In fairness the SEC is not charging the Phantom guys. Although one could safely assume they had knowledge and did nothing to alert investors that this was some type of scam.

Now trading at 9 cents per share. We can start circling the wagons this one is just about over.

The funny part is how the biz model might work for the correctly branded hardware.

Put someone legit at the helm of this concept, give gamers real value and content and
who knows.....then again who wants to compete with ***, SONY and Nintendo...

This is why I love the stock market. What a company is doing means NOTHING in the end. It is ALL about how many other people are investing in something. The more people that are invested, the more the price gets pushed up due to demand for the stock. With enough people and starting capital, you could get rich off of any stock by making other people think it's worth buying. And the best part, there is no insider trading occuring, just pure speculation, so the SEC couldn't touch you.
