Going along with the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars advertising we have been running here on EvAv.com, you can now enter a great Enemy Territory: Quake Wars "Arm Yourself For Battle" contest (http://etqwcontest.com/), with a grand prize of a new gaming PC from Chaotic Development (http://chaoticdevelopment.com/)!

"Army Yourself"? ;)
Cool deal, I have a snowballs chance in hell of winning, but I'll enter anyway.

Being against sending my info to something that will probably result in nothing more than spam, I can't help but to support anything with Strogg in it.

There's a new Quake game coming out? I had no idea! Perhaps they should boost payments on those sites they advertise upon. winknodknowwhatimeanknowwhatimean

Haha, I thought the same thing.
Even if it was, I'd take a free copy. I could always sell it.
I didn't enjoy the demo much at all. I've been very confused as to how it has been getting such good scores.
Thank goodness for demos!
Great contest. Void in Canada. Super.

I've been playing it regularly. It's a richer experience than Battlefield. I didn't really like the demo either. I think the rail gun might need nerfing though.
Typically as a strog sniper , I'll take a jet pack/granade dumper, and kind a high cliff with protection on one side, kill about 20 bad guys and the medics that come to heal them, then I move. When they get close to the objective, I swoop in and dump nades on them. The jet pack gives a real "Tribes" vibe. You can even ski down slopes ala tribes.
I'd probably reduce the damage of the rail gun and increase the rocket launcher damage against emplacements. It take forever to kill turrents.

I tried the demo, didn't like it BUT got the full game anyways and have really enjoyed it. It sort of reminds me of the Battlefield series in the way it plays but the speed of the game is definitely faster. I've been playing it for about three days and definitely enjoy it. I especially like how you are given missions based on your class. The HUD is also very well done.

I didn't like this game at first, now that I've learned how to play, it's about the only PC game I turn to atm.
