Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/fablethelostchapters/preview_6129346.html) has a nice Q&A up on Fable: The Lost Chapters (the PC version) with Dene Carter, the creative director of Fable. GS: We know that one of the PC-only features is the ability to create your own tattoo design on your PC and import it into the game. What are the general requirements for the tattoo file, and are there thoughts to giving PC modders access to tinker even more with the game?
DC: Creating new tattoos is pretty easy. All you need to be able to do is use a basic paint package. The tattoo files come with a nice template to show how you change the skin. It's very flexible, indeed. Some folks have painted themselves blue, for some reason I can't determine. I think "Smurf hero" is an abomination, a "thing that should not be," but that's a matter of personal choice. They can go Smurf themselves.
Release Date: 9/20/2005 (PC (http://www.gametab.com/pc/fable.the.lost.chapters/3852/))
I wonder what other tweaks/changes PC modders will come up with.

Would it be possible to start posting release dates for some of these games that are being previewed/interviewed? Better than going to gamespot to find out each time a games latest news is posted here.
Tatoos are fun but I hope there is a lot more improvement than nicer graphics and custom skin paint.

Nice idea! I think that would be helpful.

I think that the more important aspect here is that it's actually an entertaining interview to read. Gamespot, Dene Carter, I salute you.

I hope the modders come up with a way to make Fable not suck.

We've had the joke about Fable being horrible.
Now the obligatory weak defense, "I don't know, if you weren’t expecting much it was pretty fun."
I like the idea of attaching release dates to the new items about unreleased items. Though it might look a little funny when we keep seeing "Q4 2005" on all the Xbox 360 news items.

Let me see what I can do about the whole release date thing....maybe I can work something out with our friends over at Gametab since they keep their list pretty updated.

How's that look? I wonder if it should go at the top of the article, bottom of the article, etc...

My suggestion went forward! I feel so...POWERFUL...

So... You are paying 30$ for the sole gimmick of importing your own tattoo? I'd rather buy the Xbox Fables: TLC for 20$ than the PC version for 50$.

Bap, it looks fine where it is, top or bottom wouldn't really matter, though at the top might make sense so it doesn't interrupt things like quotes and then the staff comments.

I think it looks good at the bottom. That way we get the info that gets us interested in the first place, then when we're wondering when it's supposed to be released -- there it is. Great work!

I'm sure the mod comuinity will add some nice stuff to fable once it's released.
As for the tatoo thing. it sounds kinda cool. but without netplay it's kinda boring. even if all you could do it stand there and chat it would be better then nothing.

Fable would be the best game ever with Co-op or just multiple heroes in the same world competing against each other. You know, like how the AI was supposed to be.
