Yes after seven years the cult classic has finally made its way from Japan to Australian and European shores, along with another shooter classic. The week's releases are as follows:

Sin and Punishment (http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/570/sin-and-punishment-successor-of-the-earth.php) (N64) - 1200 points/$18/€12/£8.40*
Gradius 3 (http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/503/gradius-iii.php) (SNES) - 900 points/$13.50/€9/£6.30*
Legend of Hero Tonma (http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/568/legend-of-hero-tonma.php) (TG16) - 600 points
(*real money price added on account of the premium.)

Also a reminder today (Sunday) is the last day to get Mario 2.

So, you know, go get Sin and Punishment now if you haven't already. This was a lousy time for my credit card to get eaten by an ATM, S+P's a given, but I also loves me some Gradius 3, even if it wass outclassed by the 3 Parodiuses for the SNES. Those next Konami thanks. Ton-who?

Why is this the last day to get Mario 2? I wasn't aware Nintendo had time-limited releases on VC. Is this the case for any games in the US as well?

Damn, Sin & Punishment is awesome. Wish I had a Wii for that.

I really wish NOA would get on the ball with these imports.

Although I'm disappointed it's not over here yet, it is nice to see our European friends NOT get screwed on game releases for a change. I'll definitely be picking it up if/when it comes to the States.

Hmm, no that's not the case. Then again, we don't get "Japan-only" games at all yet :(

Kind of a questionable decision to time-limit any game. I guess they're trying to pressure people to buy those games, and if so, that's bad. But they'll be back later, in all likelihood.

Why is sin and punishment so good? I've never played it or even seen it, though I have heard of it.

Still waiting for TG-16 to pull its head from its ass and release Cadash...

I really wish NOA would get on the ball with these imports.

I would suspect since in Europe, they're accustomed to playing games with multiple languages (frequently not their own) or importing equally, if not more than US gamers, the Japanese language barrier wouldn't be much of an issue.
However, US gamers are much more vocal and would probably complain about the game having Japanese text despite being warned that it does before purchase.

The only time I wished I had a PAL console.

If you do not buy this game you are terrible and you should feel terrible.

It might be an old argument, but I don't care. $18 for a fucking N64 game? Fuck you Nintendo, fuck you in the ear.

I don't really think it's too much considering how hard a lot of N64 games are to find these days, but in this case it's especially good value. I just checked and the cheapest copy of Sin and Punishment on ebay right now is 26 USD, no box or manual, no shipping.
