I know that some of you have been a bit puzzled as to the new release date for Rock Band via Amazon.com. So far, it appears to be a malfunction within Amazon.
The article itself is quite short but here is the link (http://www.gamealmighty.com/story-individual/story/Rock_Band_Delayed/) if you would like to read it. We got on the phone with Reverb Communications, Inc., the PR firm handling Rock Band, who dispelled any rumors regarding this internal malfunction from Amazon.com. Tracie Snitker, VP of Public Relations for Reverb, explained that there is in fact no delay on the release date for Rock Band. She added there would be an announcement made later this week on the exact release date, which is still on track for November 2007. We can only assume that along with an official release date we’ll also get confirmation on final pricing of the game and all of its accessories, though Tracie didn’t explicitly state that.

I was getting a little worried there for a while. I will try to keep everyone up to date if anything new flows down the tubes.
