Welcome to another edition of EvAv arcade Fridays. Last week we mixed it up with some freeplay, this week we are going to mix it up even further with bigger and better multiplayer games.

After I picked up Eternal Sonata Tuesday, I haven't jumped on Call of Duty this week much at all. Anyone out there who wants to play tonight send me an invite when I get on.

I keep hearing that, but without a demo these days I am very leery of spending my money. I would have never picked up Eternal Sonata without having played it first.

If the game is so hot, then let people try it and get hooked.

Count me on COD4, nothing better after a long day at work than knifing someone while drinking a cold beer. Really helps get the stress out.

I tried the demo, I have no clue what the hell is going on in it or how the "emotions" come into play.

I myself am still unsure about which one to do, as CoD 4 is awesome, but TF2 is awesome.

I'd be more than willing to try and help, but I'm only good with certain weapons. What do you tend to lean towards in these games? Snipers? Assault? Machine Guns?

I'm no young buck. I can shoot things that are trying to shoot me so I shouldn't be much of a burden. I just need to learn the finer points and how to defend myself against the always present exploits.

Johan summed it up best. Geon is like multiplayer Pac-Man. You basically go around, collecting the pellets until your cube is charged, flip over to the other side of the map and then score on the goal. Given that there are only a certain amount of pellets and that some of the power-ups will make you lose pellets and scatter them about the board, it can get pretty hairy in the endgame portions of the game. Some of the maps are also pretty tricky as you have to switch sides to trigger parts of the map to move onwards.

I really like it but unfortunately, there really aren't any players online. I found one yesterday and he dropped out, then we had another match and the lag was horrible. Grr.

Yeah I did. And I got that point of it. But I'm still confused on how the EMOTIONS are supposed to effect play. Is it the powerups you can get?

Yeah, the different emotions get bonuses to the powerup associated with them. When you select your Emotion, it usually has a big icon of the power up that the get a bump on. Passion gets a longer, faster power slide, Rage gets a bigger power slam, Melancholy has a deeper pit that it can create, etc.
