Bungie's latest Halo 3 video documentary, entitled "Cinema Paradiso," is now available via Xbox Live Marketplace or Bungie.net (http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=h3savedfilms). The video is a detailed explanation of Halo 3's saved film feature. Additionally, the Halo 3 tv spots Museum and Diorama (in HD) are now also up on the video marketplace as well as a behind the scenes look at the making of the commercials.

The saved films look fantastic. Bungie has really outdone themselves with this feature; I may end up spending as much time playing with replays as much as I do playing the game itself

So...I crashed out watching the video twice, because firefox has been acting up lately (Probably an extension.)

What the hell is forge?

*Edit*
AH. The map editor.

That's available through Live, and you can play Battlefield style games if you wanted? Awesome.

I'm looking forward to Forge. That little bit about multiple capture and hold points is good news to me.

You have to admit, Bungie is a gamer's company. Releasing tools like this in a console game is cutting edge. The fact that it comes from the same company that, in my opinion, revolutionized online matchmaking means it'll be fantastic.

Oh my god, I just watched the video on Live. Soooooo cool!

I already knew all about the saved films and forge, but seeing it all in action, in hi-def on my xbox is completely different. Just from the clips they were showing, I shouted out "that was so awesome" two times.

One time was when the warthog with a couple guys in it tried to run over a guy with a gravity hammer. He smacked the front of the warthog with it which bounced it backwards, then stuck the thing with a plasma grenade. So awesome.

The second one was when the guy was getting attacked by two wraiths, and he jumped at the last moment before they crashed into each other in a big explosion below him.

god I can't wait!

Forge looks like a blast. Halo3 is looking like it MIGHT live up to SOME of the hype. I can't wait.

I'll have to check it out. I'm already addicted to watching the Believe ad and touring the diorama on the website.

Too bad I'm not much of a Halo fan, but this could be the game to finally tip me over the edge into madness!

I remember the days that pro halo posts were trolled to death. Nice to see the tides have changed, wait until a few month's after release and then tally the hata's "Zeal?" Still its a monumental moment.

I just watched the vid with my son. I predict many hours of dropping tanks on each other.
That shirt should have been a bonus for pre-orders. Remember when games used to offer that?
I think the last one was Psychonauts.

Yup, the saved films feature and Forge looks hawt! I can't wait to tool around in Forge and play around. Also, having the ability to go back and share a video with a group of gamers so they can see what happened during the round is just plain genious. Obvious but genious.
