PlanetGamecube (http://www.planetgamecube.com/) is reporting (http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.cfm?action=item&id=6386) that Geist has gone gold. The developer N-Space has updated their website (http://www.n-space.com/) to state that game has gone gold as of July 8th. Geist is slated to appear in stores August 15th (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/products/deptpage.asp?wherefrom=search&searchword=geist) according to Ebgames. (http://www.ebgames.com/)

Huh, took eight days for someone to notice this. Not a good sign.

It still has a chance to be good, it's just the developer is not exactly known for high quality games.

Just as I was about to say.. I finally had a look at the products they've developed so far, and um, I'm not too impressed. Rugrats? Mary Kate and Ashley? Hmm.

Though I'm still holding out a little hope that Geist is good.

Also.. Geist has gone gone? :)

GameSpot have a good stage demo of it from E3. It looks pretty good, shame nobody is going to hear about it.

This looks pretty good....another Resident Evil 4 caliber game or one of the likes of Killer 7? Only time will tell...and the Gamespot score as far as I'm concerned.

The last thing I'm doing is judging a developer by their previous releases. While Jazz Jackrabbit was fun (, it was included on a computer I got years ago, I was happy with it,) by that logic Unreal was doomed for failure. And let's not forget that many companies that have great histories put out shit titles.

No doubt the crew at N-Space have been making games to pay bills, but now they're in a position to make that leap to making games with original IP. And I congratulate them. I hope the game kicks ass.

Sadly I don't have a GameCube, but that's cool, I'll be getting the Revolution.

That makes sense, Rakael! Bunch of egotistical bastards, you Leos.

I don't have a Gamecube right now (though it is in the buy plans for next month) so I can't really say I've paid much attention. Tell me, isn't this the game where you posses a bowl of dog food to scare a dog?

Blade

Yeah. It's the game where you are a spirit (basically) and possess people/animals/objects to do your dirty work.

Three people here have their birthday on the same day or the day before the game's release. Is it an omen? IS IT????

Although I'm a bit wary about this game, I would really like to see a decent exclusive FPS for the cube.

I'm hoping it's Goldeneye With Ghosts.

Not counting on it, but hey, you never know.

I'm still waiting to play Zeitgeist for the Hegelianintedo Game Cube.

Some of the art is really impressive, and some of it is rather so-so. And who knows how the gameplay will come out. It is a good sign that Nintendo pushed it back until it was finished.

I think I'd rather play it on the Sterlingtendo Revolution.

Wait, you're the guy who writes Get The Sugar? Great sit, man!

Oh and Geist looks like it could be a bit fun. Looking forward to it.

I think they have a good idea with Geist, but I also have this sinking feeling in my gut that it's going to suck..

You and I are in the same boat.
I'd love to have my assumptions proven wrong though. I'd like it to rock.

Sucky games suck. :-/
